I assist growth companies with their fundraising efforts and act as their outside general counsel.  I love attending board meetings (free of charge!) so that I can learn about the business and issue spot for my clients.  Thinking even a little bit about an issue often saves a growth company money in the long-run.  I also regularly represent venture capital firms so I enjoy playing matchmaker when I can to shorten the fundraising process.

I like surrounding myself with people willing to take risks.  I find that growth companies have small or no legal teams so they really value my input and guidance.

I have had a lot of flexibility to grow my practice in my own way at Foley.  The autonomy with support has been helpful and I feel like I have my own start-up in a larger law firm.  I think the supporting cast is second to none with top-notch associates that are well trained.  This allows me to keep costs as low as possible for start-up clients while also delivering excellent service.

I am a health nut and I love anything to do with fitness and well-being.  It’s a bonus when I have a client in that space as well, like Jimmybar! I am a mom of three young kids, Sean, Brooke, and Owen.  I love spending time with my husband, Chris, the kids, and my crazy dog, Joey, going hiking, biking, and skiing.
