Natasha Allen Named an Honoree at Corporate Counsel 2023 Women, Influence and Power in Law Awards

Corporate Counsel named Foley & Lardner LLP partner Natasha Allen as an honoree for Innovative Leadership as part of its 2023 Women, Influence and Power in Law Awards.

These awards honor general counsels, in-house leaders, and law firm partners who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law. The Innovative Leadership category recognizes the ‘idea’ women, those who are impacting change and developing new strategies for better solutions.

Allen is a strategic advisor, supporting companies in all stages of growth in complex decision making across a broad range of corporate matters. She serves as co-chair of the firm’s Artificial Intelligence area of focus within Foley’s Innovative Technology sector and has a significant background advising startups, emerging companies, and late-stage companies on debt and equity financing, venture capital financing, commercial matters, and general corporate matters across a variety of industries such as AI, fintech, life sciences, and robotics. Her robust transactional experience includes mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including domestic and cross-border buy-side and sell-side transactions in augmented and virtual reality, software, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and health care.

Allen is an innovative leader both inside and outside the office and is engaged with several cultural and professional development initiatives and organizations. She is a member of FirstBoard.io and a lifetime member of the Black Women Lawyers Association of Northern California. Allen also previously served on the board of Leading Women in Technology, a nonprofit that empowers women to develop their knowledge, leadership skills, and networks for greater professional and personal impact.

Honorees will be recognized at an awards dinner on October 18, 2023, as part of Corporate Counsel’s Women, Influence & Power in Law Conference in New Orleans.
