Natasha Allen and Alidad Vakili Named Firstboard.io Founding Partners

Foley & Lardner LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Natasha Allen and Of Counsel Alidad Vakili have been named Firstboard.io Founding Partners.

Firstboard.io is a curated network of highly qualified and diverse technology leaders. Its Founding Partners will work to support the organization’s efforts and harness the support of industry leaders from the technology industry to increase the representation of women on private company boards.

Allen serves as co-chair of Artificial Intelligence within Foley’s Innovative Technology Sector and co-chair of the firm’s Venture Capital Committee. She is a strategic advisor, supporting her clients in complex decision making. Allen is an active leader engaged with her community, and is involved in several cultural and professional development initiatives and organizations.

Vakili is a business lawyer with Foley, where he is a member of the firm’s Transactions Practice Group. His practice is focused on advising entrepreneurs, founders, startups and emerging growth companies, and investors at all stages of the company’s life cycle, from formation to exit. He provides guidance on a wide range of issues across a number of industries, including technology, health care, and clean energy.
