Foley Hosts Event in San Francisco for French Founders in Tech, Life Sciences, Clean Energy and Innovation

Foley & Lardner LLP recently hosted an event in San Francisco in coordination with French Founders, an organization that provides a French speaking business network for CEOs, founders, and entrepreneurs. The evening featured a conversation with venture capitalist and product marketing guru SC Moatti, Managing Partner at Mighty Capital.  The discussion was moderated by Olivier Delerm, CEO of A6 Group.

Prompted by thoughtful questions from Olivier and the audience, SC shared her journey in the Silicon Valley from a first stint as product marketer at Sun Microsystems, to launching her own startup, to being acquired by Facebook, and then launching a novel product-focused venture capital fund.

Following a lightning round of questions and answers about SC’s journey in entrepreneurship and investing, guests enjoyed tasty food paired with fine wines from some of California and France’s best houses before a wall of glass high above the city and overlooking the sunset and the San Francisco Bay.  Most of all, our guests enjoyed networking and catching up with each other in real life.

A special thank you to Anne Calliat, West Coast Relationship Manager for French Founders, for working with Foley Partner Louis Lehot to coordinate the event.
