Foley & Lardner LLP represented ZERO Systems in their investment from Thomson Reuters Venture Fund in support of ZERO’s mission to enable generative AI and LLMs in enterprises.
ZERO Systems has been deploying large language models (LLMs) – the artificial intelligence tools that can read, summarize and translate texts, and predict future words in a sentence letting them generate sentences similar to how humans talk and write – to enterprises according to high security standards – for years.
ZERO Systems uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to augment and automate high-value processes that require mimicking the human decision-making process to make knowledge workers more effective and productive. This includes functions that typically consume excessive time, such as timekeeping, document and email management, data extraction and transformation, and many others.
The Foley team was led by Partner Louis Lehot and included Of Counsel Alidad Vakili and Associate Ethan Floyd.
